Overview

Library is a center of all academic activities which supports the teaching, learning, and research process of a Robe Teachers College. Robe Teachers College library, as a subsystem, derives its objectives from the mission of the college.  Keeping and collecting information resources effectively & economically. Robe Teacher College Library collection includes books, journals, magazines & audiovisual collections. The collection covers most of the studies currently offered by the college programs.

To be the leading and preferable academic library recognized as research-oriented library in the Region.

Mission 

To support teaching, learning and research activities through rendering users-oriented library and information services as well as acquiring relevant resources information to the society. 

Objectives

• Develop need-based collection development and managing libraries resources efficiently and effectively  
• Identifying and providing learning resources to teachers, researchers, and students
• Establishing a conducive environment to study caters for multiple learning styles 
• liaising with users to meet their needs and cooperate with others college and universities libraries services
• Training users and staffs to develop their information exploitation skills for effective utilization of information resources  
• Carrying out appropriate developmental work in library system and information professionalism with the aim of improving library’s multiple purpose services.
