Administrative and Development Vice Dean's Message

Robe College of Teacher’s Education, as one of the oldest public college in Oromia Regional State, Ethiopia, has contributed substantially in generating knowledge and cultivating trained man power for the nation.  RCTE as a higher institution, it has three core responsibilities to perform effective and efficient learning-teaching, research and community service.  According to the new organizational reform and setup of vice dean positions the College is structured under two main wings: Academic Vice Dean Office and Administration and Development Vice Dean Office. The Administration and Development wing has two key sections: 

1. Human Resource Management Directorate
2. Finance and Budget Directorate

Through departments and sub-departments, the Administration and Development Vice dean Office is applying its highest effort to contribute to the achievement of the main goal of the college. The office is responsible for mobilizing human resources, managing the finance and procurement systems and controlling the proper utilization and management of material and financial resources. The office also works to make the environment more attractive and suitable for teaching learning process. In addition to this, it administers, creates and implements programs, and services that will increase the income opportunities of the college. RCTE has an aim to upgrade to state university-college to solve problems connected with teaching learning in primary schools especially in Oromia Regional State. Using this opportunity, I would like to request all the stakeholders to contribute to the achievement of the college mission and vision. Finally, I would like to say let’s work together for achievement of our goals and development of the college.
